Hi everyone~
It's Friday...WOOT! Today, the Flourishes design team is sharing projects made with some of the beautiful new stamp sets from Flourishes March release. I chose to work with the Tulips for Friends set (I know, two days in a row!). With all of the snow we've gotten lately, I am anxious to see some pretty flowers popping up outside my window! For now, I guess I'll have to settle for stamping them. :)
I began with a Classic White card base, cut and folded to make a 3 1/4" x 5 1/2" card. Those gorgeous layers of patterned papers are from the Secret Garden collection from Graphic 45. I stamped the sentiment in Memento Bamboo Leaves, and the tulips in Memento Tuxedo Black. I colored the tulips with the following Copic Marker Collections:
I then fussy cut the tulips and layered them inside the frame, which was made with Spellbinders Antique Frame & Accents die set. The pretty die-cut border was made with the same die set. A few Ice Green Pearls dress it up nicely.
I gave the frame and tulips some dimension by popping them up on foam tape. It took lots of tiny pieces of foam tape on that intricate frame; but I am so pleased with the end result.
Inside my card, I included a few strips of patterned paper, a lovely sentiment stamped in Memento Bamboo Leaves, and a soft tulip stamped in Memento Lulu Lavendar (stamped off once).

Lavendar goodness.... very pretty Cindy. Great masking for the flower and I like that its a tall and thin card too.
