Beach Life

Hey friends~

This week the Flourishes design team is focusing on the beach with projects made using Beach Life, Seaside Life, or A Guiding Light.  I chose to work with Beach Life for my card.

I began with a Kraft card base, and added a pretty layer of navy card stock from the True Blue Color Made Easy Collection.  The patterned paper is from the Yacht Club collection from Webster's Pages.

I die-cut the image with Spellbinders Curved Rectangles Die Set, and added a double sailor's knot along the bottom of the card.  I stamped the sentiment in Memento Nautical Blue directly onto the patterned paper, and added a few patriotic enamel dots from Teresa Collins.

 

I stamped the images on Classic Kraft card stock with Memento Espresso Truffle ink, and colored them with the following Copic Marker Collections:

 

Inside I added a strip of patterned paper, palm trees stamped in Memento Bamboo Leaves, the sentiment stamped in Memento Nautical Blue, and lots of flip flops stamped in Memento Lady Bug, Memento Cantaloupe, Memento Nautical Blue, and Memento Teal Zeal.
