Hey friends!
The Flourishes design team has some fun creations made with the June new release sets. I chose to work with S'More Fun once again. I love this set SO much! Last week, I used the vintage camper image, and this week I'm using the lantern image. I just happen to have a small collection of antique lanterns that hang from the exposed beams in my kitchen; so this image called to me right away. :)
I began with a Classic White card base, added a layer of Tiger Lily Color Made Easy card stock, and patterned paper from the Harvest Lane collection from Simple Stories. I had fun with dies on this one, using the Tailor Made Classic Keyhole die set, Perfectly Pierced Victorial Ovals, and Spellbinders Classic Circles. The ribbon is from the Emerald Coast Color Made Easy Collection, and the button is from the Terra Cotta collection. I stamped the sentiment in Memento Teal Zeal ink. I added 3 pretty pearls, a couple of stick pins, and lots of air-brushing to finish off the details.
I stamped the image on Classic White with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored it with the following Copic Marker Collections:
Inside I added a strip of patterned paper, stamped the image and sentiment in Memento Teal Zeal, stamping the image off once to soften the color.
