Hey everyone!
Today's card could not have been more fun to make...or easy! All of today's supplies are from My Favorite Things. I began with a Sweet Tooth card base, added a layer of Sour Apple, and a die-cut web made from the Spider Web Die-namics. The spooky spiders were die-cut from Black Licorice card stock and the Paper Bag Peek-a-Boo Die-namics. I added googly eyes to the spiders to add to the fun, silly feel of the card. The sentiment from Pure Innocence Pretty Pumpkin was stamped on Black Licorice card stock with Sweet Tooth pigment ink, and die-cut with the Sentiment Strips 2 Die-namics. I added a green enamel dot for some added interest.
I just had to make the spiders sparkly; so I sprayed them with a couple of spritzes of MIX-ables Steel Shimmer Mist. I made the web super-sparkly with a couple of spritzes of MIX-ables Sheer Shimmer Mist. Oh my lands, is this ever pretty in person! In keeping with the sparkly theme, I hung the spiders from irridescent white thread.
Inside, I added a strip of Black Licorice card stock, stamped the adorable witch from the a la mode Bewitching set in Sour Apple, and stamped the sentiment from PI Pretty Pumpkin in Black Licorice. I apologize for the blurry picture...I wasn't drinking, I promise! ;)
This was such a simple card to make, and I really love the way it turned out. It just goes to show you, it doesn't have to take an hour to make a card you love! (***Note to my future self!)
Thanks for visiting with me today, friends!
~Cindy
