November brings crisp, cool days that might find you heading into your favorite coffee shop to grab a cup of warmth, and dwell in that inviting aroma that only a cozy cafe can bring.
This month we’re inviting you to “Grab A Cup” with us on the Flourishes Senior Design Team and be inspired by this fantastic photo as you create something equally warm and inviting. Next week we’ll be bringing you our November edition of new Flourishes Stamps, and we can’t wait! They’re absolutely fabulous! Because we know you want a chance to win these great sets, “Grab A Cup” and be inspired by this great coffee and treats photo as you create.
So...my card. What did you say? You don't see the connection to the inspiration photo? It goes like this... "All is Calm, All is Bright, First Cup of Coffee Makes Me Feel Alright". See? It's a perfect match! Okay, okay... I confess. I goofed. We had originally talked about a Christmas carol challenge, and changed to the coffee inspiration challenge. Yes, I got the memo. Yes, I knew in plenty of time. Yes, I forgot anyway. Sooooo....let's talk about menopause.....or not. ;)
So, about that card up there... I used the lovely Snow Wonderful set, choosing to work with the peaceful house image. The card base is Tonal Neutrals Color Made Easy collection. The layers are from the Evergreen Color Made Easy collection, Classic Ivory, and patterned papers from Authentique's Festive collection. I distressed the music sheet with Ranger Antique Linen ink and a sponge dauber. A bit of lace trim, green velvet ribbon, and a few pearls finish off the details.
I stamped the image with Memento Espresso Truffle ink, die-cut it with the Tailor-Made Classic Keyhole die set, and colored it with the following Copic Marker Collections:
Inside, I added strips of patterned paper and stamped the sentiment in Memento Olive Grove ink.

This is beautiful Cindy! The feel of your card is cozy and warm. I can just picture myself inside that warm cabin, in front of the fireplace, drinking hot chocolate and listening to Christmas music.
