Hey everyone~
It's release week at My Favorite Things. Today, I'm showcasing the Vintage Frames set and Vintage Frame Die-namics. This is a great sentiment and frame set that I just know is going to get lots of use around my house. Love the sentiments in this set!
My card base is Kraft, and the layers are Whip Cream, and Alla-Prima patterned papers from Prima. I stamped the woodgrain background with an awesome new background stamp (stay tuned!) and Kraft ink. The sentiment was stamped in Olive, Jellybean Green, and Blu Raspberry inks. I die-cut it with the Vintage Frame Die-namics, layered that on another piece of Whip Cream card stock that was die-cut with the Well-Worn Greetings Die-namics. I then added a strip of Kraft card stock that I die-cut with the new Blueprints 9 Die-namics. The scalloped strip along the bottom of the card was also made with the Blueprints 9 Die-namics. I wrapped a bit of turquoise/white striped twine and a strip of Kraft grosgrain around the card. I tied off the bow with an Olive button, and added three enamel dots in the top corner.
I'm so excited to be this month's Guest Designer over on the Color Throwdown blog. My card was made using this week's colors. Check them out:
