MFT Countdown: Sweet on You

Hello, dear friends!

I am back, and counting down until the My Favorite Things January release.  We have just three days left!  I hope you're enjoying the sneak peeks so far! :)



I chose to work with the darling new Doodle Garden Sweet on You set, as well as the Woodgrain Background.  My card base is the gorgeous new Grout Gray, which I can NOT get enough of!  I die-cut a few of the sweet new Mini Delicate Doilies Die-namics in Berrylicious and Grapesicle card stocks.  Those gorgeous doily dies are this month's Free With $60 set!

I stamped the Woodgrain Background in Grout Gray ink, and wrapped a strip of Grapesicle Grosgrain around the card.



I stamped the image on X-Press It Blending Card in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored her with the following Copic markers:

*skin - E000/E50/E53/R20
*hair - B41/C5/C7/C9
*bear - W1/W3/W5/R20
*hat & ribbon around bear - BG10/BG53
*dress, heart, and hair ties - V00/V02/V04
*shadows on white areas - C2
*buckle & boot accents - Silver Spica Glitter Pen

I die-cut the image with the Pierced Rectangle STAX Die-namics.  The sentiment was stamped in Grape Jelly, and a few colorful sequins were added for interest.



Inside, I added a layer of Smooth White, strips of Berrylicious and Grapesicle, a die-cut doily half, stamped the image in Berrylicious, and stamped the x's & o's in Grape Jelly.
