Flourishes: You Make Me Smile

 

Friday has come around again! We hope you have some fun plans for the weekend, and even better, some creativity planned in there. The Flourishes design team has pulled together some beauties again today with items in the store that are now discounted even more.


 
I decided to work with the Happy Thoughts stamp set, and some deliciously springy patterned papers from Kaisercraft's Secret Admirer collection.  The card base is Classic White, and the die-cuts are from Flourishes Perfectly Pierced Victorian Ovals die set and Spellbinders Petite Ovals die set.



I stamped the sentiment in Memento Teal Zeal and Memento Rose Bud.  I added a bit of sparkle to the sentiment with a Sakura Clear Stardust Glitter Pen.  I stamped the flowers and leaves in Memento Tuxedo Black, and colored them with the following Copic Marker Collections:

I then cut out the flowers and leaves and attached them with double sided foam tape.  A strip of Lime Braided Trim and a trio of enamel dots finish off the details.



Inside, I added a couple of strips of patterned paper, and stamped the flowers and sentiment in Memento Rose Bud ink.
