MFT Countdown: Go Overboard

Hey everyone!

It's the final day of sneak peeks for this month's My Favorite Things release!  My card today showcases several of the new products:  Striped Background, Go Overboard, and the Let's Get Nautical Die-namics.

The card base is Smooth White, and the layers are Blu Raspberry and Electric Red.  I stamped the Striped Background in Sweet Tooth ink, and stamped a row of anchors along the bottom in Blu Raspberry ink.  


The sentiment was stamped in Electric Red and Blu Raspberry and die-cut with the Blueprints 12 Die-namics.  I die-cut the port hole with the Let's Get Nautical Die-namics and Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics.

In order to have the life ring look like it was hanging from the port hole, I cut a slit in the life ring right below where I adhered one of the white pieces...easy peasy! :)

I rounded three of the corners, wrapped the base in red/white twine, and finished off the details with a trio of coordinating enamel dots.

Inside, I added a left-over strip of die-cut Electric Red card stock, and stamped the sentiment and images in Blu Raspberry and Electric Red.
