Hello friends!
Welcome to day one of the My Favorite Things Release Rewind! I have two cards to share with you today, both with a nautical theme. I am so enjoying the nautical theme this month!
My first card showcases the Pure Innocence Sailor Girl set, Go Overboard set, and Let's Get Nautical Die-namics. I also used Fishtail Flag STAX Die-namics, Blueprints 10 Die-namics, Blueprints 8 Die-namics, and Blueprints 2 Die-namics.
The card base is Nightshift Blue, and the layers are Kraft, Gumdrop Green, Electric Red, and X-Press It Blending Card. I stamped the anchors in Nightshift Blue ink, and stamped the sentiment in Sweet Tooth ink.
I wrapped the card with red/white twine and added a couple of red enamel dots to dress up the card.
The layout for the card is this week's Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch Challenge. Check out the sketch:
You have until next Tuesday, February 18th to play along. Stop by the MFT Blog for full details.
I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored her with Copic markers.
Inside, I added a layer of Kraft card stock, a strip of Nightshift Blue, stamped the anchor in Kraft ink, the sentiment in Nightshift Blue, and stamped the rope image in Sweet Tooth.
My second card showcases the Sailboat Die-namics, Making Waves Die-namics, Let's Get Nautical Die-namics, and Go Overboard stamp set.
The card base is Grout Gray, and the layers are Steel Grey, Steel Blue, Berrylicious, Sno Cone, Sour Apple, Brick Red, and Smooth White. I stamped the sentiment in Steel Grey, and sponged the edges of the card with Grout Gray.
I created a little port hole scene with all the new die-namics...so much fun to play with! I added enamel dots and rope cording for interest.
Inside, I added a narrow strip of Steel Gray card stock, stamped the sentiment in Steel Gray, and stamped the anchors in Grout Grey.
Thanks so much for stopping by today, friends! Swing by the MFT Blog for links to the rest of the design team blogs. Have a fantastic day!
~Cindy
