Hello friends!
Today, the Flourishes design team is sharing projects created using some of the fantastic stamp sets that are included in the Gambler's Sale. I chose to work with Wild for Watermelon, and went with a softer color palette than I've done in the past with this set.
The card base is Classic White, and the patterned papers are from Basic Grey's Fresh Cut paper pack. Some pretty pink ruffled gingham ribbon and a few enamel dots give the card a bit of personality.
I die-cut the sentiment piece with the Perfectly Pierced Classic Hourglass Die Set. I stamped the sentiment in Memento Pear Tart and Memento Rose Bud. I lightly air-brushed the background with my G2 Copic marker. I stamped the watermelon slices in Memento Tuxedo Black, and colored them with the following Copic Marker Collections:
Inside, I stamped the sentiment in Memento Rose Bud, stamped the image in Memento New Sprout, and added a couple of strips of patterned paper across the bottom.
Who doesn't love a fabulous deal? This week, the stakes are getting higher in Flourishes' Gambler's Sale! As the items sell off, the discounts get a little bit higher! Are the items on your wish list still in the store? If so, you might want to act now before they are going, going, GONE for good! This week, all prices STOREWIDE are 50% off!
Why is this sale a gamble? Well, ALL of the items now in the store will be sold off -- never to return again. So, if you see something you really want -- buy it now or take a gamble to see how low the price will go! Like we said, this week everything is 50% off with the code GAMBLERS50. Just use that code in the coupon box at the time of check out to get 50% off your entire order, even on already reduced sale prices! Each Monday, between now and February 24th, we'll be adding another 10% off! And while you're shopping -- don't forget about our MYSTERY BAGS! Each bag is valued at roughly $40 but... you pay only $25 (before the discount)!!! Each bag has two stamp sets -- YES TWO! One is an unpackaged set that we cannot sell because it doesn't have an index sheet. But, it stamps perfectly and would love a new home! Each bag also has a fun tutorial sheet showcasing a card or technique, a few yards of ribbon and an embellishment. What a bargain! Click HERE to visit the store and pick one up today!
Before you go, I have to tell you that the design team created some eye candy so sweet, it could give you a cavity! So, hop on over and see their beautiful creations to serve as a dose of inspiration to kick off your week!

This image is a reminder that indeed, Spring and Summer will get here eventually, we all have just about enough of Winter around here.
Beautifully colored image Cindy, if I close my eyes, I can remember the sweetness of an ice cold slice of delicious, sweet watermelon!!!!!
Now, can I ask you and your readers a question? Please, what does this announcement at the Flourishes on line store mean?? "All the items now in the store will be sold off-never to return again....." Please, if this means that Flourishes is closing it's doors, I will be totally and completely in shock!!!!!
Ladies, please say it isn't so!!!!!
