My card for today showcases the Lily Die-namics, which was last month's "Free with $60" set, and is being made available this month for anyone to purchase. It is such a gorgeous floral die set!
The background was created with the new On the Diagonal background stamp, VersaMark ink, and clear embossing powder. I then die-cut it with the Pierced Rectangle STAX Die-namics and layered that on a Rectangle 1 STAX Die-namics.
The card base is Black Licorice, and the layers are Grapesicle and Sour Apple. The little tabs were created with the Blueprints 10 Die-namics and a couple of black enamel dots.
The card layout is this week's Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch Challenge. Check it out:
I had some fun with the lilies, adding shading with Copic markers (RV63/RV66 for the flowers and YG01/YG03 for the leaves), and adding spots with a Black Sakura Glaze Pen. I love all the dimension these flowers have!
Inside, I added a layer of Smooth White, a strip of Grapesicle, a strip of Black Licorice, and stamped the sentiment in Grapesicle and Black Licorice. The sentiment is from the Words of Inspiration stamp set.
