Hey everyone!
Only two days left until this month's release from My Favorite Things goes live! Today, I have two cards to share with you, both with a masculine feel.
My first card showcases the awesome new You Mean the World to Me Centerpieces Die-namics, which is this month's Free With $60 product! The card base is Grout Grey, and the layers are Steel Grey, Orange Fizz, Smooth White, Sno Cone, and Sour Apple.
I added lots of dimension to the "land" portions of the world die with some double-sided foam tape. The heart from the Blueprints 15 Die-namics was sponged with Tangy Orange ink and given a coat of MIX-ables Sparkle Glitter Glaze. Here's a fun trick: I didn't shake the bottle, so I could just get the glaze without the sparkle.
Inside the card, I used the Sun Ray Stencil, my Copic air-brush system, and YR07 Copic marker to create the big sun and rays. I used the curvy die in the Fishbowl Die-namics and Sour Apple card stock to create the grassy bottom edge. The sentiment from Watt's Up was stamped in Black Licorice and Tangy Orange inks.
Here's a look at my second card:
The sentiment is from Watt's Up, and was stamped in Nightshift Blue and Fuse Green. The card base is Grout Gray, and the layers are Nightshift Blue, Fuse Green, Brick Red, and Smooth White.
The layers were die-cut with the Blueprints 15 Die-namics. I stamped the new Linen Background stamp on the Fuse Green and Nightshift Blue layers. The lightbulb was created with the Lightbulb Die-namics. I created the rays of light coming from the lightbulb with the Sun Ray Stencil, a sponge dauber, and Sweet Tooth pigment ink. I gave the bulb a good coat of shine with the MIX-ables Sparkle Glitter Glaze.
I popped the lightbulb up with double-sided foam tape, and added a bit of color to the base with my BG20 and C4 Copic markers.
Inside, I added a strip of Fuse Green card stock, a die-cut piece of Brick Red card stock, and stamped the sentiment in Nightshift Blue.

Both cards are so inspirational; thank you for them. I like that you showed the inside as well. It helps me remember to 'finish off' the inside of my cards.

Cindy, your cards are genius! I love the first one, especially the Irish colors and the inside; and the second one with the silver filament!
