Hey everyone!
It's HERE! It's time to SHOP for this month's new products from My Favorite Things! The entire design team has some wonderful projects to share with you using the new products. Grab a cup of whatever makes you happy, and settle in for a sweet tour!
I have three cards to share with you today. The first one showcases the awesome new Birdie Brown set, Let's Hang Out and coordinating Let's Hang Out Die-namics.
My card base is 5" x 5" Kraft, and I stamped the awesome new Linen Background on it with Kraft ink. The layers are Smooth White, Sno Cone, and X-Press It Blending Card.
I stamped the images in Hybrid Black Licorice ink, die-cut them with the coordinating dies, and colored them with the following Copic markers:
Here's a look at the inside of the card:
I simply added a layer of Smooth White, a die-cut piece of Electric Red, stamped the tree in Kraft ink, and stamped the sentiment in Gumdrop Green ink.
For my second card, I also used the Let's Hang Out set and coordinating Let's Hang Out Die-namics.
The card base is Grout Gray, and the layers are Grapesicle, Orange Fizz, Factory Green, and X-Press It Blending Card.
The stitched layers were die-cut with the Blueprints 15 Die-namics and Vertical Stitched Strips Die-namics. The sentiment was stamped in Factory Green ink, and die-cut with the Fishtail Flags Layers STAX Die-namics. I added a few enamel dots to the flag to dress it up a bit.
I stamped the images in Hybrid Black Licorice ink, and die-cut them with the Let's Hang Out Die-namics.
Here's a look at the inside:
I added a layer of Smooth White, a die-cut strip of Factory Green, and stamped the image in Grapesicle.
For my last card, I chose to work with the new Pure Innocence Just the Way You Are set.
My card base is Blu Raspberry, and the layers are Smooth White and X-Press It Blending Card. I created the frame with the new Rectangle Frames Die-namics, Woodgrain Background, and Blu Raspberry ink. The sentiment was stamped in Hybrid Black Licorice ink, die-cut with the Horizontal Stitched Strips Die-namics, and highlighted with Copic markers.
I stamped the girl in Hybrid Black Licorice ink, and colored her with the following Copic markers:
I played around with some neon colors, even utilizing a couple of the Fluorescents. :)
Here's a look at the inside:
I added a smaller layer of Smooth White, a strip that was stamped with the Woodgrain Background using Blu Raspberry ink, the image stamped in Sno Cone, and the sentiment stamped in Razzle Berry ink.
That's all from me today, folks! Stop by the MFT Blog for links to all the rest of the designers.
Have a beautiful day!
~Cindy
