Hello everyone, and a very happy Monday to you!
Today's card was based on this week's Wednesday Stamp Club sketch challenge from My Favorite Things. Check out the sketch:
My card base is Steel Grey, and the layers are Electric Red and Smooth White. The frame was created with the Rectangle Frames Die-namics, Romantic Script Background, and Sweet Tooth pigment ink.
I created the background with the Floral Fusion Cover-Up Die-namics, and backed it with Electric Red card stock. I just love how bold that die looks with a pop of color behind it!
I used a couple of stitched dies for the other layers, Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics and Horizontal Stitched Strips Die-namics.
The beautiful flower that is the main focal point of this card was created with the Gerbera Daisy Die-namics, and Upsy Daisy Die-namics (leaves). I scattered a few sparkly silver enamel dots to add a bit of pizzazz.
Inside, I added a layer of Smooth White, a die-cut strip of Electric Red, a die-cut daisy, and the sentiment, which was stamped in Steel Grey.
Thanks so much for stopping by today, friends! I hope you have a most glorious day!
~Cindy
