Color Throwdown Challenge #297

Hey everyone~

Today, I have a card to share using this week's Color Throwdown Challenge colors.  I am the hostess this week; so be sure to stop on over and play along with us.  Just click HERE.

My card was made using the darling new Birdie Brown set called Every Day Is a Picnic.  The card base is Smooth White, and the layers are Grout Gray and X-Press It Blending Card.  I rounded each of the four colors on the first layer.  The sentiment from Smile was stamped in Blu Raspberry ink.  I stamped the Linen Background on the Grout Gray layer using Grout Gray ink.


I stamped the images in Black Licorice Hybrid Ink, and die-cut them with the Every Day Is a Picnic Die-namics.   I air-brushed the background with BG53 and YG03 Copic inks.  The circle was die-cut with the Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics.  I gave her hat a bit of texture with a piece of denim and a spritzer full of Colorless Blender solution.

I added a strip of Lemon Drop card stock across the time, stamped the sentiment in Blu Raspberry ink, stamped the little girl image in Lemon Drop ink, and stamped the butterflies and trails in Blu Raspberry and Lemon Drop ink.
