Hello, friends!
Have you been enjoying all of the sneak peeks for this month's My Favorite Things release? It's a pretty fabulous release, isn't it?! You don't have to wait one second more to shop, because all of the new release products are live NOW!
Before you run off to shop, you'll want to hop around to all of the design team blogs, and check out some more fun projects using the new products. I have three cards to share with you today; so strap on your seatbelts, and enjoy the ride. :)
My first card showcases the darling new Pure Innocence Roarin' Good Day set, coordinating PI Roarin' Good Day Die-namics, Zebra Stencil, Blueprints 21 Die-namics, and Peek-a-Boo Circle Windows Die-namics.
The card base and most of the layers are Grout Gray, the other layers are X-Press It Blending Card, and the fabulous new Tropical Teal. I used my W5 Copic marker to airbrush the background with the Zebra Stencil.
I stamped the image in Black Licorice Hybrid Ink, and colored it with the following Copic colors:
Here's a look at the inside of the card:
I stamped the sentiment and image in Tropical Teal, and added a thin strip of Tropical Teal cardstock at the top.
My second card uses a lot of the same products as the first card; but simply by changing the colors and card design, they have very different looks.
The card base is the new Peach Bellini, and the layers are Smooth White, X-Press It Blending Card, and the new Persimmon. The ruffled edge was created with the Stitched Scallop Edges Die-namics, and the oval was die-cut using the Stitched Oval STAX Die-namics. I stamped the Zebra Background on one side of the fold, and stamped the cute little paw prints and sentiment on the other.
Rather than the usual fold for my card, I went with a tri-fold design, and used a Velcro circle to keep it closed.
I stamped the image in Black Licorice Hybrid Ink, and colored it with the following Copic Markers:
Here's a look at the inside of the card:
I added a layer of Smooth White, a strip of Persimmon, and stamped the images in Peach Bellini.
My third card was just too much fun to create! I used the new Photo Booth stamp set, Photo Booth Props Die-namics, and Polaroid Cover-Up Dienamics.
The card base is Smooth White, and the layers are Tropical Teal, Limelight, and Black Licorice. I stamped the Fine Chevron Background in Tropical Teal, and stamped the sentiment in Sweet Tooth, and embossed it with white detail embossing powder.
Here's a look at the inside of the card:
I stamped the sentiments in Tropical Teal, added a die-cut portion of a circle in Limelight, and stamped the crown in Limelight ink.
Thanks so much for stopping by, friends! Be sure to swing by the MFT Blog for links to all of the other designers' fabulous creations!
Have a beautiful day!
~Cindy
