Hello friends!
It's been weeks since I've blogged or even stamped! Did you miss me? I honestly just needed some time to refresh. It would appear that my mojo has taken a vacation as well. Sometimes when I go too long between stamping, my mojo packs it's bags and stomps off in a huff. Now, I need to coax it back with promises of pretty, colored images. Thank the good Lord that Marcy never disappoints with her incredible Power Poppy florals!
I did get a card made for today; but when I went to load the photo to my computer from my camera, the cord was nowhere to be found. I looked for a quite a while, and it just seems to be gone. I had to leave for the airport, as I'm teaching Copic classes in Edmonton AB Canada this weekend. So, I brought the card along with me, and snapped a photo with my phone.
First, you need to see the GORGEOUS new digital set Marcy created:
Power Poppy's newest addition to the Instant Garden Collection just happens to be one that's a tall beauty that's not only colorful but a dramatic beauty. Our newest set, Bees in Foxglove, features three lush stalks of foxglove (Digitalis) with three plump bumblebees buzzing around doing their bumblebee thing! Add in a cheery all occasion sentiment and you have one stunning set that is ready to download, print, color and create with!
I snapped a photo of my card in the airport, and then again on the hotel bed. So, I'm including both shots. Haha!
I used lots of Copic markers to color this one; but, alas, I didn't snap a picture before I left home.
I kept the card design itself very, very simple...in part because my mojo hasn't returned home yet, and in part because the image itself is so incredible that it needs absolutely nothing.
I LOVE that sentiment, and totally believe in it...a great motto to live by!
Here's the second shot from the hotel room:
Now, grab yourself a cup o' joe, and hop on over to the Instant Gardeners and Bloom Brigade blogs. They have outdone themselves!

Ah, Cindy, so glad you had some time off...and, yes, we missed you! And what a beautiful card, and our mojo didn't go anywhere!! Hehe! I love the colors you've used for this gorgeous foxglove (don't you just love all the variations?), and I love the simple layout with the pretty scalloped border, along with the sentiment banner and button! Stunning card - especially since you are "on the road." And I hope you've found the cord! Hugs, and enjoy the classes (it's my dream to take a class someday...just keep missing the schedule).
