Hello & happy Friday, friends!
How about a little something pretty from Power Poppy? My card was made using the Daffodils stamp set, and a soft color palette. I played along in this month's brand-new Power & Spark Challenge, which is to color your image using only three markers. Eeps! That was hard, man! I chose to work with a purple, a yellow, and a green. Since purple is complementary to yellow & green, I knew it would work well for achieving depth in my shadows. You know how much I like good contrast in my images!
Here are the three colors I chose:
I even used the BV02 as "sky" around the image. It was no easy feat, let me tell ya, getting that color to fade to white with my Colorless Blender. In the end, I really do like the way it turned out!
My image, in case you had any doubt, is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on X-Press It Blending Card.
That pretty woodgrain patterned paper is from an old My Mind's Eye 6x6 pack, called Bramble Rose. There are many My Mind's Eye collections that have pretty woodgrain papers in them, however.
Inside my card I added a simple white layer stamped with a soft purple daffodil bouquet, a strip of woodgrain paper, and the sentiment stamped in black.
Be sure & stop by and see the fabulous creations from the Bloom Brigade & friends.

Oh, Cindy, this is gorgeous, and using just three Copic markers had to be a challenge even for you - hehe! But, wow, do I LOVE this card with the amazing coloring! And I do love the "sky" around the image that almost has a watercolored effect! Stunning layout with the woodgrain paper, and I love the inside too! Beautifully done, as always! Hugs!
