Hello & happy Friday to you!
Today I have a card created with a sweet new digital stamp set from Power Poppy. This one's appropriately called Juicy Strawberries, and it couldn't be more yummy!
I wanted a vintage, painterly feel to my card; so I chose a soft color palette, including patterned papers from Carte Bella's True Friends collection & a pretty mint green card stock.
I printed the image off on X-Press It Blending Card using a very pale green ink, and colored it in the no-lines coloring style. I love this look so very much...soft, feminine, and, yes, painterly.
I added a big bow of smooshed mint green seam binding & a few coordinating pearls to dress it up just a bit. That image is stunning enough on it's own without adding too much fru fru.
I colored the image with the following Copic markers:
Here's a look at the inside of my card:
That is one of two sentiments you get with the Juicy Strawberries digital stamp set. I love that sentiment so very much. Big, squooshy hugs are the BEST!
Be sure to swing by the rest of the Bloom Brigade blogs to see their amazing creations.
My sweet daughter attended her first prom this past weekend, and she looked so incredible that I could hardly contain my tears. When did my baby grow up?
There are amazing professional photos; but I am still trying to decide which ones to buy (because I want them all!). These were taken by her boyfriend's mom. :)
Thanks, as always, for visiting with me today! Have yourself a FABULOUS weekend! Ours is going to be super busy, but wonderful. :) I'll tell you about some of it soon...promise.
~Cindy

Oh my gosh!! Cindy, your daughter looks simply gorgeous!!! and you will have a very hard time not buying every single photo taken of her, when you get the sample sheet, you will want them all, been there, suffered through that with my soon to be 18 years old granddaughter, where did all the years go????? it was just yesterday when I had her in my arms the day she was born, sheeesh!! now I'm getting teary eyed.
Ok now, those strawberries look delicious, the way you colored them is stunning, I'm lucky I have this image as a set, love it!!! You framed this image gorgeously, both the dies you used are beautiful, I need to get me a set of stitched dies, goodness!!
Thank you for sharing this amazing photos of your lovely daughter.
Hugs,
Maria Rodriguez.

Your coloring is just perfection. I'd never be able to do that, but so appreciate that you included the markers you used so I can try!
Your daughter is lovely. Hope the evening was wonderful.
