Hello and a happy Friday to you, crafty friends!
It's Power Poppy Friday, and I pulled out an oldie but goodie for my card, called Bough Wow Wow. Okay, by "oldie" I mean it's two years old. Haha!
I decided to stamp and color this one up a bit differently than my usual black or brown image. I began by stamping the entire image in Memento Bamboo Leaves ink.
I then went back over the lines of just the mittens with my brand-new Lavender Copic Multiliners, to give them a little "pop".
I used the 0.5 Lavender Multiliner to outline the mittens, and the 0.3 Lavender Multiliner to go over all the detail work. It was super quick & easy to do.
Check out the four sizes the new Lavender Multiliners come in:
Oh, and there's even a 0.03 size too. I have to say, I was wishing I had the 0.1 Lavender Multiliner for some of the detail work; so that is on my next order for sure!
Next, I did the same for the ribbon, and colored in the mittens & leaves with Copic Markers.
I then pulled out my 0.3 Cobalt Multiliner to outline the heart before I colored that in as well. Although I colored the ribbon shades of purple, I made sure they were grayer shades to distinguish them from the mittens. The final touch was to add some sparkle with a Clear Spica Glitter Pen.
In order to give the sparkly pom poms a bit of dimension, while still keeping them white, I used a BV20 Copic Marker to create a light shadow on each one.
Those patterned papers, by the way, are from Echo Park's Winter Wishes collection.
Here's a look at the Copic Markers I used to color the image:
Finally, here's a peek at the inside of the card:
A simple strip of patterned paper, a couple of sweet holly images, and a coordinating sentiment add just the right amount of fun to the inside.

Wow, Cindy! This is absolutely gorgeous, and I love this "oldie but goodie" image! Hehe! How cool that there are more colors being offered for the Copic multi-liners. That's going to help with no-line coloring. And, wow, is your coloring fabulous! What a beautiful card all pretty and sparkling, and I love the inside too! Hugs, sweet friend!
