Hello, and happy Friday to you, friends!
Today's card is created using Power Poppy's Glistening Paperwhites stamp set. There's a brand new Power & Spark Challenge happening for January over on the Power Poppy Blog. Stacy's heading up this awesome challenge. Check it out!
The challenge this month is to use some beautiful winter blooms on your project! Here's a link to all of the stamp sets that fit into that category in the Power Poppy Store: Winter Blooms
"When winter comes, many of us long to say goodbye to the chill and say hello to those cheerful and fresh spring flowers! Did you know there are lots of blooms that sprout at the end of winter (you can cheat and include early spring as well)? How about camellias, crocus, paperwhites, holly, snowdrops, or poinsettias? Let's see how you can bring these pretty little petals and glorious greens to life and enjoy this last bit of winter as well!"
Doesn't that sound like a fun challenge?! It's also a great way to break up the winter doldrums, and color up some colorful blooms!
Here's a close up look at the paperwhites image on my card:
I colored the image with Copic Markers, and added a bit of Wink of Stella sparkle to give it a little pizzazz.
Here's a look at the Copic Markers I used:
Not so many, right?! I stuck with a very soft and simple color palette for this one. I chose a sympathy or get well sentiment from the Nice Things to Say set; so I knew I wanted the colors to be a bit more muted.
Thanks so much for stopping by today, friends! Swing by the rest of the Bloom Brigade blogs to see their fabulous creations!

Great card. I immediately recognized the background die. Perfect for your winter flowers.

I always love to see what path your coloring is going to take Cindy, and this is a beauty! I also love that we both used this image this week, along with a little "Wink". Beautiful as always!!

Oh, Cindy, this is beautiful, and I love the soft palette! And I love the card stock color too with the beautiful die behind the focal image. Gorgeous card for a sympathy or get-well card. I have to make several cards like this one, so thanks for your inspiration (as you always do)! Hugs, sweet friend, and keep warm! xoxo

Looks beautiful! I like that you only used a few colors, not that hard. LOL Beautiful die cut framing too.

I love that you used these flowers for something other than Christmas. They look wintery, but not Christmas-y. Cool die cut, too. Pretty, Cindy!
