Hello & a very happy Sunday to you, friends!
The day has arrived!!! It's time for you to SHOP for all of the beautiful new release stamp sets from Power Poppy's Abundance release!
Before you run off though, let me show you the last set in the release. This one's called Under Glass, which comes with five absolutely darling little vignettes, a glass cloche image, as well as a few happy sentiments. So many possibilities with this one!
I chose a bright and cheerful color palette for my card, which is a 5" square. It seems that I'm into square cards again, as this is the third one this week! I do love all the room you have to design on a square card. I added several die-cuts to my card to give it that little something extra, all from My Favorite Things. I air-brushed the background of a couple of the layers with my Copic Airbrush System and YR61 Copic Marker.
I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It Blending Card, and colored it with the following Copic Markers.
Here's a close-up of the colored image:
I so enjoyed coloring each little element of this one. The glass cloche was colored first using BG000, and then allowed to dry. After the image was dry, I used my Colorless Blender to push the color to the outside edges of the cloche. It's an easy and effective way to create the look of glass with your Copics.
Here's a look at the inside of the card:
I die-cut the sentiment with a Spellbinders scalloped oval die, added strips of patterned paper, and another scalloped border die across the top. I stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black, added a bit of highlighting to a couple of the words with Copic Markers, and air-brushed the background with my YR61 Copic Marker.
Next up, you'll want to swing by the rest of the Bloom Brigade blogs to see their fabulous creations.

Beautifully done, Cindy! I always love your beautiful layouts and coloring skills that bring images to life. The glass tip is great! If you ever come to Denver for a copic class, I would be sure to take it! :)

What a beautiful card, Cindy, and I LOVE these cloche images...each one sweeter than the next! I've not decided which one I love most...but I need them. Thanks for the great tip about coloring your glass. I love your layout too! You've all done an amazing job of delighting us with sneak peek looks, and now I can hardly wait to play with the stamps myself! Hugs!
