Hello friends! Better late than never, right? I have had no internet for a couple of days, which makes it kind of difficult to write a blog post. ;) It's been a very frustrating two days; but I think we're golden now.
My card today was created for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge. Check it out:
Pretty, isn't it? Stop by the Color Throwdown Blog to play along!
I chose to go with a mostly white card, adding the colors only as accents and the sentiment.
My card base is Smooth White, as are all of the rest of the layers. The stitched layer was created with the Blueprints 15 Die-namics. The circles were created with the Circle STAX 1 Die-namics and Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics. The days of the week were created with the Days of the Week Die-namics (shocking, eh?).
I added shimmer to the background with MIX-ables Sheer Shimmer Mist. I stamped the sentiment from You Make My Day in Grape Jelly, and the butterflies from Winged Beauties in Grapesicle, Kraft, and Pink Lemonade. I die-cut one of the butterflies with the coordinating Winged Beauties Die-namics.
A few scattered sequins add color and interest.
Inside, I stamped a few more butterflies, and added a sentiment from Celebrate Big in Grape Jelly.
Swing by the My Favorite Things boutique for all of the supplies used on my card and more!
Thanks so much for stopping by today, friends! I hope you have a lovely rest of your day!
~Cindy

So glorious, Cindy. The front design using days of the week is brilliant. I love the soft touch of butterfly to the inside

So pretty Cindy. Love the shimmery paper, the die-cut words in the background... those soft butterflies are gorgeous. Glad the internet is back in business!
